I am a game theorist studying the evolution of social behavior.
My research focuses on understanding how inequality and other mechanisms—such as information dynamics and decision-making policies—shape social interactions. Additionally, I explore how insights from behavioral and evolutionary sciences can inform better environmental decision-making.
Currently, I am a Lecturer at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Queensland University of Technology, co-lead of the Applied Mathematical Ecology Group (AMEG) and Associate Investigator on the Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future (SAEF) initiative.
Previously, I was a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse in France, a Marie-Sklodowska-Curie fellow at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, and a visiting researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna in the group for Behavioral Economics "Insight Austria". I obtained my PhD from the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland in April 2019.

February, 2025: I’m honored to be selected as the Emerging Scholar Keynote speaker for the World Conference on Natural Resource Modeling in Nepal (June 8-12, 2025)! 🎉 My talk, "Evolutionary Game Theory for Better Environmental Decisions," will explore how strategic behavior and ecosystem adaptation shape policy outcomes, offering insights into designing more resilient conservation strategies. Excited to share my work and learn from this amazing community—join me in Nepal! 🌏 Submit your abstract here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gKECj2Tt
February, 2025: Exciting News! 🎉 I’m absolutely thrilled to have received the Cherry Ripe Award for the best academic talk at ANZIAM! This award is especially meaningful as it was voted for by postgraduate students, and I’m incredibly grateful for their support and recognition. A huge thank you to everyone who attended my talk and to ANZIAM for fostering such an amazing academic community. I’m looking forward to more opportunities to share research, learn from others, and engage with this fantastic group of mathematicians.
